Professional Staff

Scenic Hills Alternative Care works directly with Bluestone Physician and Nursing Services to provide immediate and direct contact between Scenic Hills staff, nurses and physicians.

In-house Physician Services: Scenic Hills partners with Bluestone Physician Services to provide superior medical care to our residents. By providing in-home service, residents can be cared for in the environment in which they are most comfortable thereby avoiding the stress and time required to travel to a clinic. The in-home visit includes assessment of current medical concerns, frequent medication review, preventative care, foot care, skin care, chronic disease management and arrangement of specialty care when needed. All patients are serviced by state-of-the-art electronic medical records, which allow the staff and family daily access to the physician and elimination of unnecessary delays.

In-house Psychiatry Services: Scenic Hills also partners with Bluestone Physician Services to provide in-house psychiatry services for residents who require psychiatric care. The Bluestone psychiatrist makes house visits and works with the care team to ensure the effective delivery of comprehensive mental health services.

Registered Nurses: RNs conduct assessments, develop patient care plans, provide case management, oversee cares, provide professional training to staff, oversee medication set-ups, and administer medications and injections.

Program Director: Responsible for overseeing all house managers, program components, and quality of care. Program Director works with family members, case managers, medical staff and front-line staff to ensure effective service delivery

House Managers: Responsible for oversight of 24-hour staff at each of Scenic Hills locations, works with residents and families to ensure quality of care.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA): Provide direct hands on care to clients 24-hours a day, prepares meals, and assists with bathing / dressing / grooming, housekeeping and activities.

Activities Director: Responsible for assessing and implementing an activities calendar consistent with the needs of the client as identified in the client’s plan of care, coordinates group activities to meet therapeutic and socialization needs in a group setting.

Socialization Coordinator: Responsible for assessing and implementing a socialization plan consistent with the needs of the client as identified in the client’s plan of care, coordinates individual activities to meet therapeutic and socialization needs on a 1:1 ratio.

Professional Support Staff: Additional professional support, development, training and consultation provided by Executive Director, Operations Director, Director of Strategic Planning and Development, Finance Department, Human Resources Director, Information and Technology Director, Maintenance and Housekeeping.
